Ordination Ceremony, Saturday, December 17, 2011

Why does a church need an elder? What is his role? As Paul has written in Titus 1:5-8, the purpose of ordaining elders is to make sure the church is well structured, to teach the truth of the Bible, and to prevent the church from false teaching. An elder should humbly stand firm for the truth and the well-being of our church. In the future when we have a full-time pastor, the elder(s) should assist the pastor to lead the church.

You are cordially invited to join us in celebrating the ordination of Brother Chung-Wen Chen as Elder of Chinese Christian Church of Fort Wayne. Please see the following invitation for more details.
